In his message, Diaz-Canel expressed his solidarity to the Iranian government and people and sent his condolences to the families of the victims of blasts in the city of Kerman that killed more than 100 people and wounded hundreds.

Iranian state television reported two explosions on the road leading to the Kerman Martyrs’ Cemetery as tens of thousands of people marched in honor of Soleimani, the anti-terrorist commander and national hero killed by a U.S. drone in 2020.

The death toll is even expected to rise, warned Iranian authorities, who described the event as a terrorist attack.
